Our goal is to create social gathering space(s) that encourage and foster a sense of community. As we see a gap or need in the community, we will aim to fill it with a positive space to host educational, wellness, artistic, business-professional, casual events and groups.

Additionally, we will aid in connecting like-minded people to support or form organizations or committees that seek to boost the social landscape of Atlantic. We will continue to serve as a resource for these groups, as needed, to help them accomplish their goals.

What is the SHIFT Network?
The SHIFT Networks is our spin on planned giving, which is an essential element for any nonprofit’s survival. The end goal is be a group comprised of supporters coming together to help SHIFT ATL and Atlantic make their vision a reality through planned giving. 

Why should I join the SHIFT Network?
We want to get local residents together that are passionate about seeing their community thrive and who are interested in economic development, but maybe don’t have the time to give to large scale projects. This would be your way to get involved with SHIFT ATL and give you an avenue to have your voice and ideas heard by a group that is dedicated to #makeSHIFThappen.

Member benefits of the SHIFT Network:
Besides the fulfillment of giving back to your community, you will be invited to *free* SHIFT Network meetings twice a year to be updated on the latest SHIFT ATL news, see behind the curtain of our operations and finances, share your thoughts and ideas for Atlantic’s growth, and socialize with other Network members. Each year you will also get a new piece of SHIFT ATL swag.

What are the dues?
Dues start at $25/quarter; however, we welcome other dollar amounts.

When and how are dues collected?
Dues will be collected via ACH, cash, or check on January 2024, April 2024, July 2024, October 2024. We are able to collect dues on a quarterly or annual basis – just let us know! You can also pay online at the button below.

How are dues being utilized?
SHIFT Network dues go directly to our organization’s “General Fund”, which is used at our discretion. Typically we use these funds to aid in our fundraising and event efforts and when necessary, we may choose to allocate some funds to our current project(s).
